The Research Policy and Science Organisation Team provides a wide range of support for the teaching, research and public activities of the faculty’s teaching and research staff, and contributes to the preparation of the Dean’s decisions on matters related to research policy and science organisation.

To this end, the team is involved in the announcement and management of international, national and faculty grant proposals. It collaborates with the supervisors of the proposals to develop the professional and technical content of the proposals. It monitors and supports the grant activities of faculty members in terms of both individual and research group grants. Furthermore, the team cooperates with the Grants Team of the Finance Office and monitors the implementation of faculty grant projects. 

The team also participates in the quality management of the faculty. It is responsible for the coordination of the quality management structure, prepares the annual quality development activities of the faculty, and carries out the operational tasks necessary to meet the objectives. It liaises with all participants, coordinates and monitors the faculty’s quality development processes.

The team supports the work of the faculty’s Research Ethics Committee, carries out the preparatory and operational tasks necessary for the deliberation of the ethical aspects of the scientific work of the faculty, and coordinates the issuing of research ethics licences.

The team oversees the faculty’s performance evaluation system, supports teaching and research staff in completing their activity registers, prepares the relevant statistics and analyses the data.

The team is involved in the processes of external and internal data requests, reports and referrals concerning both the teaching staff and the faculty’s organisational units.
